Professional Background

Before becoming disabled, I worked in marketing for some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Fruit of the Loom, Spalding, and Tractor Supply, Co.

This experience, combined with self-determination, led me to start Disability Dame, a business at the forefront of the disabled and chronically ill parenting community.

In just over 1 1/2 years, I’ve created a dedicated online community that feels seen and heard. With a growing social media following and consulting partnerships with Coppertone Sunscreen, Vaseline, and Band-Aid, I know how to position your company to take advantage of this untapped market.

Proven Experience

Social Media

The Disability Dame instagram account is averaging a 7.73% engagement rate (Sept. ’21). The median across all industries is 1.22%. With just under 7,000 followers, I have two reels with over 1 million views (Nov. ’21).

So, what does this mean?

Simply put, I know how to create content that resonates with an audience. It’s no longer about how large your social media following is, but how connected your audience feels toward your message.

People want less curated accounts and more authenticity. It’s not about always saying the “right” thing as it is about showing up and standing up for what your audience believes in.

Organic Reach

Disability Dame is currently showing up on the first page of Google Search Results for over 31+ keyword terms.

So, what does this mean?

I know how to create an SEO strategy that gets your content in front of a highly targeted audience FOR FREE.

In August 2021, I threw a fundraiser asking for $31 donations for my 31st birthday. All proceeds went to Live Like Lou’s campaign to build a state-of-the-art ALS research facility at Vanderbilt.

Through the generous support of others, we raised over $22,800 with a 100% match from Vanderbilt Medical Center, totaling a contribution of $45,600 to the campaign.

Ideal for Large Scale Organizations

Do you see the value of making products for the disabled community but don’t have any insight into the life of someone who’s disabled? If you want to look like a marketing genius by tapping into this untouched market but are missing the perspective of someone with a disability on your team, this is where I can help!

In today’s world, companies are evaluated by their commitment to “doing good,” while the pandemic has brought focused attention to the disabled and immuno-compromised community. As a result, companies can’t afford to ignore the ever-evolving values of the upcoming generation, and, instead, must adapt to new market demands.

From product development, to branding, to digital marketing, I not only have the experience of someone who is physically disabled, but I have a proven track record of creating a brand from scratch that resonates with this community.
